ALL PRODUCT SALES AND DEPOSITS ARE FINAL
- 1 Year Limited Warranty for Bicycles, Scooters, ATV’s, Mopeds, and Motorcycles unless stated otherwise is available. Parts are covered per Manufacturer’s Warranty. Labor and parts shipping cost is covered up to 30 days from the Date of Purchase by Segway Maui

ALL CANCELLED ORDERS EXCEPT PRE-ORDERS WILL INCUR A $100 CANCELLATION FEE REGARDLESS OF THE REASON FOR CANCELLING. FOR PRE-ORDERS, PLEASE READ OUR PRE-ORDER POLICY BELOW.

Inventory and Stock Availabilities
Prices, colors, and models are subject to change without notice. Segway Maui makes no guarantees regarding inventory availability. Product availability is provided on an “as available” basis and is subject to change depending on sales volume.
Product Availability Terms:
- IN MAUI STOCK – This item is available now for pickup at our Maui store. The listed price includes all shipping fees.
- PRE-ORDER WITH STORE PICKUP – This item is currently out of stock and in transit from the manufacturer to our warehouse, with an estimated arrival date still to be confirmed. The listed price includes shipping, and the item will be available for pickup once it arrives.
- IN CA WAREHOUSE – This item is stored at our California warehouse. The listed price does not include shipping to Maui, so additional shipping fees may apply.
Segway Maui will make every reasonable effort to ensure that its website’s inventory is updated regularly to reflect product availability. In the event that an out-of-stock unit is purchased on the website, Segway Maui will take all necessary steps to provide the Customer with an appropriate alternative of similar value, or issue a refund upon the Customer’s request.
Pre-Order Policy
What is a Pre-Order?
A Pre-Order allows you to purchase an item that is currently out of stock but will be available at a future date. By placing a Pre-Order, you ensure the item is secured upon its release, so you won’t miss out due to potential sellouts. Estimated availability dates for Pre-Ordered items are included in the product description but may change based on the manufacturer’s schedule.
How long will it take for my Pre-Order to arrive?
Once your Pre-Ordered item arrives, we will contact you via phone and email within 1-3 business days. You will also receive an email confirmation when the item has reached our warehouse. If your order includes multiple Pre-Ordered items, each item will be shipped as it becomes available. Please note that some items may arrive earlier than others.
When will I be charged for my Pre-Order?
Payment for Pre-Orders is processed at the time of purchase to secure your order.
Can I cancel my Pre-Order?
Yes, you can cancel your Pre-Order by contacting us at info@segwaymaui.com. Please note that cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Why did another retailer receive the item before mine became available?
Manufacturers ship to retailers on varying schedules. It’s common for products to reach some retailers 4-6 weeks before others. Rest assured, your item will be shipped as soon as we receive it. We recommend subscribing to our email newsletter for the latest updates on shipping and availability.
What happens if the release date of my Pre-Order changes?
Pre-Order release dates may change based on the manufacturer’s timeline. Factors such as production delays, shipping challenges, and supply chain disruptions can impact these dates, especially in the wake of COVID-19. We will keep you informed by updating product descriptions, sending email notifications, and posting updates on our Pre-Order Update Page as soon as new information becomes available.
Customer Information & Information for customers:
Information is collected at the time of a sale in order to complete the sale and deliver the products. Customer lists are not sold or distributed to third parties.
Warranty Coverage
Segway Maui will provide warranty coverage to Customers who have made a purchase directly through Segway Maui. Warranty coverage is not transferable to second-hand purchasers of the products. The Customer is responsible for labor costs associated with any repairs on their products. Segway Maui will assist with repairs via telephone, providing step-by-step instructions or detailed videos on how to properly repair your products. Labor is not included in the warranty.
Yadea Products Warranty
All Yadea e-bikes (the “e-bike”) and their individual Covered Components are protected against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for one (1) year after the Customer receives the e-bike (the “Warranty Period”). This Limited Warranty applies only to United States e-bike purchases, with different warranty terms for purchases in Canada and the European Union, and is governed by the following conditions:
- Only the original owner of an e-bike purchased from Yadea’s online store is covered by this Limited Warranty. The Warranty Period begins upon the Customer’s receipt of the e-bike and ends at the earlier of the Warranty Period’s expiration or the sale/transfer of the e-bike to another party. The warranty does not transfer to any subsequent owner.
- The Limited Warranty covers the replacement of defective components, including the Battery, frame, forks, motor, motor controller, LED display, throttle, brakes, front light, rear light, and charger (each a “Covered Component”).
- Covered Components are warranted to be free of defects in materials or workmanship during the Warranty Period.
60-Month Limited Warranty for Motors
- Motor repairs are covered under the 60-month warranty, but no replacements will be provided. Exceptions include:
- Lack of invoices, warranty cards, failure videos, or motor numbers.
- Motors purchased more than three months ago.
- Sample or speed-unlocked motors.
- Some parts, such as the motor wiring harness, Hall sensor, nylon gear, stator, and grease, can be serviced once every two years for up to three times in five years, free of charge.
Free Service During the Warranty Period
Quality issues that cannot be repaired, such as performance failure, phase absence, burnout of lines, demagnetization, magnetic steel shedding, wheel shaft deformation, fracture, gear damage, or bearing damage, are eligible for free replacement.
Disputed Matters
Motor water ingress will be determined by both parties. If quality issues cause water ingress under the IPX5 standard, free replacement will be provided.
Out-of-Warranty Paid Service
Issues such as motor line cut-off, leakage, impact from external forces, self-disassembly, use of non-Yadea spare parts, or natural disasters are not covered. The Customer will bear the cost of spare parts and labor fees as per the price list and service standards.
This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Normal wear and tear of any Covered Component.
- Consumables and wear items (tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, grips, chains, spokes).
- Damage or defects from improper use, accidents, neglect, modifications, commercial use, water damage, stunt riding, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
- Battery damage from power surges, improper chargers, or misuse.
- Non-e-bike products sold by Yadea.
- Determining whether damage or defect is covered by this warranty is at the sole discretion of Yadea.
Notes:
- The buyer must provide a VIN and pictures of faulty parts for a warranty claim.
- The warranty period begins on the sales date or bill of lading date and may be extended by up to six months if the sales date cannot be provided.
- Warranty is halved for non-family use (e.g., rentals, deliveries).
- Replaced parts retain the original warranty period of the e-bike; new parts purchased by the Customer receive a new warranty period.
For E-Scooters
1) 12-Month Limited Warranty for Motor & Main Body Covers frame, hub motor, controller assembly, handlebars, front body, control panel, rear hub, disc brakes, seat tube, front fork, and other main components.
2) 6-Month Limited Warranty for Accessories Covers batteries, chargers, brake levers, throttle shifters, tires, and inner tubes.
3) 3-Month Limited Warranty for Appearance Wear Parts Covers headlight assembly, instrument cover, grip cover, bell assembly, fender, and decorative covers.
This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover:
- Unauthorized maintenance, misuse, collision, or modification.
- Fluid ingress, tire punctures, and normal wear.
- Products used for commercial purposes.
Credit Card Transactions:
Credit card transactions are processed by third-party services. A professional payment authorization service was chosen for added security and reliability. Only the purchase price and the credit card information provided by the customer is supplied to VeriSign. Information collected during transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties. Your credit card number is not transmitted to Segway Maui. In case of cancelation, it takes 2-3 business days for the refund to be processed and 3-5 business days for the refund amount to show up in your account.
Shipping
The majority of products are in stock at the Maui warehouse and ready for pickup after payment. We ship to all Hawaiian Islands via Young Brother and since most of the products contain info lithium batteries they are in HAZMAT classification and they can shipped to your port only. Shipping cost and ETA depend on Young Brothers’ schedule. All the bikes are originally packed from the factory (unless previously used) with all the original accessories and require some level of assembly.
Unwanted Items – RMA necessary
All the cancelation and RMA must be requested by email at info@segwaymaui.com. Segway Maui reserves the right to refuse the return of unwanted items. Brand new/unopened items (security tape is not cut) may be returned for a store credit or refund within 14 days of delivery. Must come in original packaging with all original accessories. 25% Handling & Restocking Fee will apply and the exact shipping cost will be deducted from the total order amount. For FREE SHIPPING items, a 20% Handling & Restocking fee will apply and the exact shipping cost will be deducted from the total order amount.
New-opened / used items may be returned for 50% store credit or refund within 14 days of delivery. Must come in original packaging with all original accessories, tags and the original serial number. Issuing an RMA number for an Unwanted item return might be rejected by Segway Maui.
For an order canceled by a customer within 24 hours after payment (must be done before shipment or pick up) – a 5% processing fee will apply to cover a payment processing and administration fee.
Web Site Log Files:
Like most websites log files are generated that show the IP Address of the visitor, date, time, and pages visited. Aggregate reports for website visitors are generated that do not contain personally identifiable information. Advertising reports have been generated that show the IP addresses of visitors who clicked on ads. This information may be sent to the advertiser to confirm the advertising fee charged. The advertiser already has this information as a result of the user clicking on the ad. No additional information about the visitor is supplied to the advertiser. The log files are eventually deleted.
