Inventory and Stock Availabilities
Prices, colors, and models are subject to change without notice. Segway Maui makes no guarantees regarding inventory availability. Product availability is provided on an “as available” basis and is subject to change depending on sales volume.

Product Availability Terms:

  1. IN MAUI STOCK – This item is available now for pickup at our Maui store. The listed price includes all shipping fees.
  2. PRE-ORDER WITH STORE PICKUP – This item is currently out of stock and in transit from the manufacturer to our warehouse, with an estimated arrival date still to be confirmed. The listed price includes shipping, and the item will be available for pickup once it arrives.
  3. IN CA WAREHOUSE – This item is stored at our California warehouse. The listed price does not include shipping to Maui, so additional shipping fees may apply.

Segway Maui will make every reasonable effort to ensure that its website’s inventory is updated regularly to reflect product availability. In the event that an out-of-stock unit is purchased on the website, Segway Maui will take all necessary steps to provide the Customer with an appropriate alternative of similar value, or issue a refund upon the Customer’s request.


Pre-Order Policy

What is a Pre-Order?

A Pre-Order allows you to purchase an item that is currently out of stock but will be available at a future date. By placing a Pre-Order, you ensure the item is secured upon its release, so you won’t miss out due to potential sellouts. Estimated availability dates for Pre-Ordered items are included in the product description but may change based on the manufacturer’s schedule.

How long will it take for my Pre-Order to arrive?

Once your Pre-Ordered item arrives, we will contact you via phone and email within 1-3 business days. You will also receive an email confirmation when the item has reached our warehouse. If your order includes multiple Pre-Ordered items, each item will be shipped as it becomes available. Please note that some items may arrive earlier than others.

When will I be charged for my Pre-Order?

Payment for Pre-Orders is processed at the time of purchase to secure your order.

Can I cancel my Pre-Order?

Yes, you can cancel your Pre-Order by contacting us at info@segwaymaui.com. Please note that cancellations are subject to a 10% cancellation fee.

Why did another retailer receive the item before mine became available?

Manufacturers ship to retailers on varying schedules. It’s common for products to reach some retailers 4-6 weeks before others. Rest assured, your item will be shipped as soon as we receive it. We recommend subscribing to our email newsletter for the latest updates on shipping and availability.

What happens if the release date of my Pre-Order changes?

Pre-Order release dates may change based on the manufacturer’s timeline. Factors such as production delays, shipping challenges, and supply chain disruptions can impact these dates, especially in the wake of COVID-19. We will keep you informed by updating product descriptions, sending email notifications, and posting updates on our Pre-Order Update Page as soon as new information becomes available.

Customer Information & Information for customers:

Information is collected at the time of a sale in order to complete the sale and deliver the products. Customer lists are not sold or distributed to third parties.


Warranty Coverage

Segway Maui will provide warranty coverage to Customers who have made a purchase directly through Segway Maui. Warranty coverage is not transferable to second-hand purchasers of the products. The Customer is responsible for labor costs associated with any repairs on their products. Segway Maui will assist with repairs via telephone, providing step-by-step instructions or detailed videos on how to properly repair your products. Labor is not included in the warranty.

Yadea Products Warranty

All Yadea e-bikes (the “e-bike”) and their individual Covered Components are protected against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship for one (1) year after the Customer receives the e-bike (the “Warranty Period”). This Limited Warranty applies only to United States e-bike purchases, with different warranty terms for purchases in Canada and the European Union, and is governed by the following conditions:

  • Only the original owner of an e-bike purchased from Yadea’s online store is covered by this Limited Warranty. The Warranty Period begins upon the Customer’s receipt of the e-bike and ends at the earlier of the Warranty Period’s expiration or the sale/transfer of the e-bike to another party. The warranty does not transfer to any subsequent owner.
  • The Limited Warranty covers the replacement of defective components, including the Battery, frame, forks, motor, motor controller, LED display, throttle, brakes, front light, rear light, and charger (each a “Covered Component”).
  • Covered Components are warranted to be free of defects in materials or workmanship during the Warranty Period.

60-Month Limited Warranty for Motors

  • Motor repairs are covered under the 60-month warranty, but no replacements will be provided. Exceptions include:
    • Lack of invoices, warranty cards, failure videos, or motor numbers.
    • Motors purchased more than three months ago.
    • Sample or speed-unlocked motors.
  • Some parts, such as the motor wiring harness, Hall sensor, nylon gear, stator, and grease, can be serviced once every two years for up to three times in five years, free of charge.

Free Service During the Warranty Period
Quality issues that cannot be repaired, such as performance failure, phase absence, burnout of lines, demagnetization, magnetic steel shedding, wheel shaft deformation, fracture, gear damage, or bearing damage, are eligible for free replacement.

Disputed Matters
Motor water ingress will be determined by both parties. If quality issues cause water ingress under the IPX5 standard, free replacement will be provided.

Out-of-Warranty Paid Service
Issues such as motor line cut-off, leakage, impact from external forces, self-disassembly, use of non-Yadea spare parts, or natural disasters are not covered. The Customer will bear the cost of spare parts and labor fees as per the price list and service standards.

This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Normal wear and tear of any Covered Component.
  • Consumables and wear items (tires, tubes, brake pads, cables, grips, chains, spokes).
  • Damage or defects from improper use, accidents, neglect, modifications, commercial use, water damage, stunt riding, or failure to follow maintenance instructions.
  • Battery damage from power surges, improper chargers, or misuse.
  • Non-e-bike products sold by Yadea.
  • Determining whether damage or defect is covered by this warranty is at the sole discretion of Yadea.

Notes:

  • The buyer must provide a VIN and pictures of faulty parts for a warranty claim.
  • The warranty period begins on the sales date or bill of lading date and may be extended by up to six months if the sales date cannot be provided.
  • Warranty is halved for non-family use (e.g., rentals, deliveries).
  • Replaced parts retain the original warranty period of the e-bike; new parts purchased by the Customer receive a new warranty period.

For E-Scooters

1) 12-Month Limited Warranty for Motor & Main Body Covers frame, hub motor, controller assembly, handlebars, front body, control panel, rear hub, disc brakes, seat tube, front fork, and other main components.

2) 6-Month Limited Warranty for Accessories Covers batteries, chargers, brake levers, throttle shifters, tires, and inner tubes.

3) 3-Month Limited Warranty for Appearance Wear Parts Covers headlight assembly, instrument cover, grip cover, bell assembly, fender, and decorative covers.

This Limited Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Unauthorized maintenance, misuse, collision, or modification.
  • Fluid ingress, tire punctures, and normal wear.
  • Products used for commercial purposes.

RIDING GEAR AND APPAREL WARRANTY

All sales are final. Products purchased in incorrect sizes may be exchanged for the same brand, model, and price if available, provided the product is in its original, unused condition, in the original packaging with tags. The customer is responsible for covering shipping costs. All products sold by Segway Maui, either online or in-store, are warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for one (1) year from the date of purchase unless stated otherwise. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only and does not cover damage caused by abuse, negligence, improper repairs, inadequate fit, modifications, or unintended use. Segway Maui makes no other express warranties or guarantees. Any implied warranties by law are limited to ninety (90) days. Segway Maui is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.

If you suspect a product defect, you may return the item to Segway Maui for a warranty evaluation within the first year of purchase. Products deemed defective and covered by warranty will be repaired or replaced with an item of comparable size and style, at Segway Maui’s discretion. Products not covered by the warranty will be returned to you at your expense. Goods intended for international sale are not valid for repurchase in the USA, and their warranties are void.

Motorcycle Warranty Coverage (50cc-250cc Motorcycles)

  • 1-Year Standard Parts Warranty: During the first month of ownership, Segway Maui will cover both parts and shipping costs for the replacement of any defective component. From the second month until the warranty ends (12 months after purchase), Segway Maui will cover part replacement costs, but the customer must pay for shipping. Labor and items affected by wear and tear or customer negligence are excluded.
  • Extended Warranty (1, 2, or 3 Years): If purchased, Segway Maui will cover both parts and shipping for defective components related to the engine and transmission during the extended period, excluding labor, wear, and physically damaged items.
  • Body Fairings: Due to the fragile nature of body fairings, they are only covered for shipping damages reported within 48 hours of receiving the product.

ATVs, Dirt Bikes, and Pocket Bikes/Mini Choppers Warranty Coverage (50cc-250cc)

  • 1-Year Standard Parts Warranty: Coverage is the same as for motorcycles, with Segway Maui covering parts and shipping costs for the first month and then only parts for the remainder of the 12-month period, with customers responsible for shipping. Extended warranty options also apply.
  • Fairing Color Disclaimer: Segway Maui does not guarantee replacement fairings will match the original colors. Customers unsatisfied with replacement colors must arrange painting at their expense.

Electric Bicycles, Motorcycles, Mopeds, Scooters, ATVs, and Dirt Bikes Warranty Coverage

  • 1-Year Standard Parts Warranty: During the first month, Segway Maui covers parts and shipping for defective components. After the first month, the customer must pay for shipping. Extended warranties also apply here.
  • Extended Warranty (1, 2, or 3 Years): If purchased, this covers parts and shipping for engine and transmission-related components under normal use, excluding wear and tear items.

Exclusions

The following exclusions apply to all Segway Maui Warranty programs:

  1. Accidental Damage: Any damage caused by accidents or improper use.
  2. Modifications/Alterations: Damage due to unauthorized modifications or installations.
  3. Negligent Maintenance: Failure to maintain factory-specified service schedules voids the warranty.
  4. Improper Storage and Fuel Use: Damage caused by improper storage or the use of improper fuel or lubricants is excluded.
  5. Standard Wear and Tear: Parts like tires, belts, brake linings, filters, spark plugs, and batteries are excluded from warranty coverage.
  6. Physical Damage: Water damage and any physical damage caused by accidents or negligence are not covered.
  7. Unauthorized Repairs: Repairs not conducted by qualified professionals will void the warranty.

Delivery and Inspection

  • Customers must inspect products upon delivery. Damages must be reported within 48 hours, or the customer will be liable for repair costs.

Assembly Requirements

Segway Maui requires vehicles to be fully assembled and tested by a certified mechanic to maintain warranty coverage. Unless otherwise stated, vehicles are shipped 85%-95% assembled. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the mechanic performs final assembly and testing, with records of the process maintained for warranty purposes. Segway Maui provides technical support and instructional materials upon request.


Returns

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Segway Maui does not offer exchanges, returns, or refunds. Customers are encouraged to review product information carefully before purchase.


MSO/MCO and Registration

Segway Maui warrants some items as DOT-approved, but it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the vehicle meets local registration requirements. Segway Maui will provide a Manufacturer Certificate of Origin (MCO) and a Bill of Sale, but no refunds will be issued for issues related to registration compliance.

Legal Disclaimer

The purchaser acknowledges the risks associated with motor vehicle use and motorcycle-related activities and agrees to ensure that the user is qualified and physically capable of operating the motor vehicle safely.

The purchaser accepts full responsibility for any inherent risks when allowing others to operate the purchased vehicle. Adult supervision is required for individuals under the age of 16.

The purchaser assumes all risks and dangers related to the use of the purchased motor vehicle, including but not limited to injury, disability, paralysis, dismemberment, or death. These risks may result from the purchaser’s actions or inactions, the actions or inactions of others, or unforeseen circumstances. The purchaser fully accepts all such risks, losses, costs, and damages incurred as a result of engaging in the aforementioned activities.

The purchaser expressly releases Segway Maui and its affiliates from any liability for damages arising from the use or misuse of the purchased vehicle, including but not limited to loss of revenue or any monetary damages caused by manufacturer defects. The purchaser is responsible for registering and operating the purchased motor vehicle in compliance with local and state laws and regulations. The seller makes no representations or guarantees regarding the legal operation of its vehicles in specific cities, states, or provinces.


American LIFAN Warranty

AMERICAN LIFAN 2 YEARS LIMITED WARRANTY FOR ONLINE PURCHASE

Coverage

The warranty covers the first owner from the date of purchase for 24 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. American LIFAN warrants all parts of the vehicle except those listed under the caption “What Is Not Covered.” This warranty covers the parts needed to correct defects in material but does not cover labor costs and is not transferable.

What Must You Do?

After purchase, you must submit the warranty registration card back to American Lifan either by mail or email. You must maintain a record of the vehicle’s required periodic service and inspection. Periodic service and inspection are considered regular maintenance and are not reimbursable.

You are required to maintain a record of the initial inspection, which will be required upon application for any benefits covered by the LIFAN limited warranty. You must properly use, maintain, and care for the vehicle as outlined in the American LIFAN Owner’s Manual.

What Is Not Covered? (Warranty Exclusions)

  • Any damage resulting from negligence of periodic maintenance.
  • Any damage resulting from repairs, adjustments, or maintenance operations by methods other than those specified by American LIFAN.
  • Any damage resulting from hard driving due to racing, rallying, or operation in a location not generally used for driving.
  • Any damage resulting from use beyond the limitations specified in the American LIFAN Operations Manuals, such as overloading the vehicle or damage from use under normal conditions.
  • Any damage caused when the product is used as a rental/commercial use vehicle.
  • Any damage resulting from the use of non-genuine parts or accessories or fuel, lubricant, or fluid not specified by American LIFAN.
  • Any damage resulting from modifications of the product.
  • Any damage that results from the passage of time (natural fading of painted surfaces, shell peeling, and other deterioration); consumable replacement parts due to natural wear and tear, such as spark plugs, drive chains, drive belts, air cleaner elements, brake shoes, clutch disks, light bulbs, batteries, rubber parts, tubes & tires, oils, and cables.
  • Any damage due to improper storage or transport.
  • Any damage resulting from repairs, adjustments, or maintenance operations performed by any person other than American LIFAN distributors or dealers.
  • Any damage resulting from unavoidable natural disasters, fire, collision, theft, or secondary damages based on any of these occurrences.
  • Incidental or additional expenses incurred for making any claims, such as those for towing, communications, hotel, and meals, as well as any losses during the maintenance period, such as loss of time, loss of business, and rental car expenses.
  • Scheduled maintenance and inspection fees.
  • Any aftermarket parts, including electrical or engine replacements installed on the motorcycle or scooter.
  • Any routine maintenance.
  • Non-warranty parts (except manufacturing error or defects): Spark plugs, contact points, fuel filters, oil filters, drive chains, air filters, brake shoes, brake pads, clutch disks, bulbs, fuses, gaskets, tires, rubber hoses, grommets, rubber cushions, step rubber, belts, batteries, seats, radiator hoses, fuel hoses, and vacuum hoses.

Credit Card Transactions:

Credit card transactions are processed by third-party services. A professional payment authorization service was chosen for added security and reliability. Only the purchase price and the credit card information provided by the customer is supplied to VeriSign. Information collected during transactions is maintained in their database for accounting and billing purposes. Information from these transactions is not released to third parties. Your credit card number is not transmitted to Segway Maui. In case of cancelation, it takes 2-3 business days for the refund to be processed and 3-5 business days for the refund amount to show up in your account.

Shipping

The majority of products are in stock at the Maui warehouse and ready for pickup after payment. We ship to all Hawaiian Islands via Young Brother and since most of the products contain info lithium batteries they are in HAZMAT classification and they can shipped to your port only. Shipping cost and ETA depend on Young Brothers’ schedule. All the bikes are originally packed from the factory (unless previously used) with all the original accessories and require some level of assembly.

Unwanted Items – RMA necessary

All the cancelation and RMA must be requested by email at info@segwaymaui.com. Segway Maui reserves the right to refuse the return of unwanted items. Brand new/unopened items (security tape is not cut) may be returned for a store credit or refund within 14 days of delivery. Must come in original packaging with all original accessories. 25% Handling & Restocking Fee will apply and the exact shipping cost will be deducted from the total order amount. For FREE SHIPPING items, a 20% Handling & Restocking fee will apply and the exact shipping cost will be deducted from the total order amount.
New-opened / used items may be returned for 50% store credit or refund within 14 days of delivery. Must come in original packaging with all original accessories, tags and the original serial number. Issuing an RMA number for an Unwanted item return might be rejected by Segway Maui.
For an order canceled by a customer within 24 hours after payment (must be done before shipment or pick up) – a 5% processing fee will apply to cover a payment processing and administration fee.

Web Site Log Files:

Like most websites log files are generated that show the IP Address of the visitor, date, time, and pages visited. Aggregate reports for website visitors are generated that do not contain personally identifiable information. Advertising reports have been generated that show the IP addresses of visitors who clicked on ads. This information may be sent to the advertiser to confirm the advertising fee charged. The advertiser already has this information as a result of the user clicking on the ad. No additional information about the visitor is supplied to the advertiser. The log files are eventually deleted.

Segway Maui TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Segway of Maui, as identified throughout, shall also include any and all companies doing business as owned subsidiaries of Stardust Hawaii, and shall also mean any authorized agent for Segway of Maui.
  • Acceptance of documents and/or invoices, either physical or electronic, is an acknowledgment that you accept these terms and conditions.
  • Placing an Order: Once you place your order,you will receive an automatic confirmation email about your payment. This payment confirmation serves as an acknowledgment that the charges made on your behalf for any form of travel purchased through Segway of Maui are legitimate charges, and you will not challenge any legitimate charges made. In the event of doing any chargeback or attempt to reverse your credit card for these legitimate charges, you will be responsible for any court costs incurred by Segway of Maui to recover those funds.
  • Checks returned for insufficient funds or stop payments, will result in maximum penalties as allowed by Hawaii Law and Statute. Insufficient funds checks will be subject to maximum penalties allowed and may be subject to criminal prosecution, and any other applicable laws and statutes.
  • Litigation: In case of litigation, all litigation will occur in a Hawaii Court of Law, or be mitigated by a licensed arbitrator chosen by Segway of Maui.
  • An invoice from Segway Maui has the same strength as a signature on file and will be considered as such in a court of law or for any challenges to a reversal of charges on a credit card.
  • We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy lets you know how your personal information is processed and used. We will use your personal information only in ways that are compatible with this Privacy Policy.
  • We will NEVER sell your e-mail address or any other information about you to a third party.
  • When purchasing tickets, all information gathered is strictly confidential and shared only with our financial institution for processing!
  • We maintain a strict “No-Spam” policy, which means we do not sell, rent, or otherwise give your personal information to outside companies.

I. INTRODUCTION

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using these websites.

For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “you” and “your” means each person, group of individuals, entity or entities who visits these Segway Maui websites (as defined below) or the Segway Maui’s mobile app (the “Mobile App”) for any purpose.

For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the “Website Providers” or “We” means the Segway Maui final drawing including its agents, contractors, and any parties involved in creating, producing or delivering the website.

The Segway Maui reserves the right to terminate, suspend or cancel any participant for suspected fraud of any type, any attempt to purchase from a location that is not within the geographic boundaries of USA, the purchase or attempted purchase by persons under the age of 18 years old, and for violations of any applicable rules, regulations, state or federal laws.

For purposes of these Terms and Conditions, the “Segway Maui” means the Segway Maui, including its agents, contractors, and any parties involved in creating, producing, or delivering these websites, including, but not limited to, Bubba Gump restaurant located in Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii and each of their respective successors and assigns.

These Terms and Conditions are a binding legal agreement between you and the Segway Maui for the final drawings purpose. By participating on final drawings, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions

The Segway Maui may change these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice to you by posting changes on these websites. The Segway Maui encourages you to review these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Your continued use of these websites following the posting of any changes will mean that you accept the revised Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions please let us know immediately to remove you from final drawings.

  • You agree to access and use these Websites only for lawful reasons. You are responsible for knowing and complying with any and all laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to your use of these Websites. You are prohibited from using these Websites in any way that:

  • The Segway Maui will cooperate fully with any law enforcement officials and/or agencies if requested or required in the investigation of any users who violate these Terms and Conditions and may disclose your information to such law enforcement officials and/or agencies if required by law.

III. MAKING PURCHASES

    • A. Authority
      • When you provide a valid payment method to us, you confirm that you are authorized to use that payment method. When you fund a transaction, you authorize us (and our designated payment processor) to charge the full amount to the payment method you designate for the transaction. You may also authorize us to collect and store that payment method, along with other related transaction information.
  • B. Approval
    • If you pay by credit or debit card, we may obtain a pre-approval from the issuer of the card for an amount, which may be as high as the full price of your purchase. If you cancel a transaction before completion, this pre-approval may result in those funds not otherwise being immediately available to you.
  • C. Failed Funding
    • If you fund a payment by debit card and your load transaction results in an overdraft or other fee from your bank, you are solely responsible for the resulting fee(s).

V. ACTIONS WE MAY TAKE

  • A. Terminate Use
    • The Segway Maui reserves the right to terminate, suspend or cancel any purchase transactions for suspected fraud of any type, any attempt to purchase from a location that is not within the geographic boundaries of USA, the purchase or attempted purchase by persons under the age of 18 years old, and for violations of any applicable rules, regulations, state or federal laws.
  • B. Sharing of Information
    • We may contact your financial institution or card issuer, law enforcement, or affected third parties (including other users) and share details of your payments or transactions associated with your Internet purchase, if we believe doing so may prevent financial loss or a violation of law.
